Defense Flyout

The Defense Flyout is a Capitol Hill–based convening that brings together congressional staff to engage directly with defense industry representatives, military professionals, and subject-matter experts on the key defense and national security issues of the day. The event provides an informal forum for discussion, networking, and information-sharing, helping staff build relationships and stay informed on emerging challenges, capabilities, and policy priorities shaping the defense landscape. To support these staff-level conversations and strengthen ongoing dialogue across the defense community, I—along with colleagues—have restarted this tradition as a regular opportunity for engagement.
